Which parquet patterns do you install?
We install herringbone, chevron and basket weave parquet across Sydney, in both laminate and timber parquet products. Pattern choice changes the look of a room significantly, so we can show you samples laid out before you commit.
Does parquet cost more to install than straight-lay flooring?
Usually yes. Parquet takes more setting out, more cutting and a higher wastage allowance than a straight-lay floor, and that is reflected in the quote. We measure and allow for the wastage up front rather than adding it later.
Can parquet flooring go into a strata apartment?
Yes, with an acoustic underlay and strata approval. We provide the product and acoustic documentation you need for the application, and we work to whatever conditions your by-laws set.
