Frequently Asked Questions
Is hybrid flooring waterproof?
Hybrid flooring has a rigid waterproof core, so it handles spills, mopping and wet areas far better than laminate. It is a common choice for Sydney kitchens, laundries and open-plan living areas.
Does hybrid flooring meet strata acoustic requirements?
Our 8mm hybrid range has been acoustically tested at L′nT,w 44 with the specified acoustic underlay. We can provide the full test report with your strata renovation application.
What thicknesses of hybrid flooring do you supply?
We supply 7mm, 8mm and 9mm hybrid boards. Thicker boards feel more solid underfoot and generally perform better acoustically, which matters most in apartments and upper storeys.
